Join the Manzanar Committee, NPCA, and local community leaders on Saturday, August 23rd to defend the truth of WWII Japanese American incarceration history. Hear from WWII incarceration survivors, community activists, and allies to honor the people and places that shaped our history and demand that this injustice never happens again.

*8/23 10am – 11:30am at Japanese American National Museum – Democracy Plaza in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles

*8/23 2pm – 4pm at Manzanar National Historic Site – Cemetery in Payahunaduu / Owens Valley

Sec. Haaland, a member of the Laguna Pueblo of New Mexico, left a tremendous legacy, helping preserve public lands and elevate untold stories as Interior Secretary, including the Amache National Historic Site in Colorado. During her visit to Amache, Sec. Haaland shared: it “will help preserve and honor this important and painful chapter in our nation’s story.” We thank her for her leadership, past and present.

Join us to #ProtectEveryPark and stand up for truth, justice and democracy.
