Coverage of the Annual Manzanar Pilgrimage/Manzanar At Dusk Programs

The guidelines for the 55th Annual Manzanar Pilgrimage can be found here

All media (radio, television, or written), videographers (including those shooting documentaries or student works), are welcome to cover the annual Manzanar Pilgrimage and Manzanar At Dusk programs, always scheduled for the last Saturday in April. Please note, however, that we have strict guidelines for coverage of these events that must be adhered to, and the National Park Service, which administers the Manzanar National Historic Site, also has their own guidelines for media covering the daytime Pilgrimage program.

All media advisories and press releases will also be published here on our web site in the months ahead of the annual pilgrimage.

Looking For A Former Japanese American Incarceree To Interview?

Unfortunately, the Manzanar Committee has limited resources from which to provide interview subjects. We strongly recommend contacting the staff at the Manzanar National Historic Site with your request. With their vast array of contacts among those who were unjustly incarcerated during World War II (or their families), they will be much better positioned to assist you.
