For the past two years, the Florin chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League has brought a diverse group of people to the Manzanar Pilgrimage, the trip being coordinated by Andy Noguchi.
After they returned home, Andy, his daughter Annie Kim Noguchi, former Manzanar prisoner Carol Hironaka, and Manzanar National Historic Site Interpretive Ranger Richard Potashin were guests on Insight, a radio program on KXJZ radio (90.9 FM; National Public Radio) in Sacramento, California on May 1, and they spoke about their experiences at the Manzanar Pilgrimage last weekend.
